9-11 Chili Pepper & Brew Fest. Kick off the summer with the 3rd Annual Chili Pepper & Brew Fest, combining three fiery components into one smokin' weekend.  The International Chili Society holds its two regional chili competitions and tasting in Snowmass, while microbrewers face off in a prestigious summer ale competition with two microbrew sampling sessions for festival goers. 13-16 Blast the Mass - NORBA Mountain Bike Challenge.  The prestigious Mountain States Cup Series presented by the National Off-Road Biking Association (NORBA) brings the 6th annual Blast the Mass to Snowmass. Drawing over 1,000 top regional competitors, Blast the Mass launches bikers through extreme downhill, cross country, and mountain cross terrain for regional champion titles. 20-22 US Open Mountainboard Championships.  Featuring world champion riders such as Jason Lee, the championships hold gravity-defying competitions such as Dirt Boardercross, Slopestyle Big Air, and a new timed Downhill competition. An expo, demonstrations, and the U.S.Open Mountainboard Camp with the pros round out this epic event.
